ROCK FALLS - David A. Jones Sr., 64, of Rock Falls, died Saturday,
Jan. 17, 2009, at CGH Medical Center. He was emloyed by Jerry Warren
Motors, Sterling, as an auto salesman, retiring in 2002. Mr. Jones
was born June 25, 1944, in Chicago, the son of Charles Leonard and
Elsie Carolyn (Leenheer) Jones. He served in the Marine Corps from
1961 to 1965.
Survivors include a son, David A. (Sue) Jones Jr. of Rock Falls; a sister, Marguerite (Sam) Licocci of Libertyville; two brothers, Charles Jones of Rockford and Howard (Julia) Jones of Rock Falls; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Doris Topping, Carol Carter, and Betty Lucas; and three brothers, Robert, Bert, and Richard Jones. |
